KENYA · GUIDE 0514 · EDITION 4.2
Cold-box rental delivery in Kenya
Deliver hired insulated boxes without promising a controlled cold chain by default.
A CONCRETE EXAMPLE · ILLUSTRATIVE
Fictional cold-box rental job CLD-14 supplies two empty, clean, 35-litre nominal insulated boxes to a caterer for a one-day event, followed by collection the next morning. The caterer specifies the usable internal dimensions, cleaning compatibility and any validated temperature-control procedure it requires. The rental includes asset numbers BX1 and BX2, lid/hinge inspection, a delivery photograph with permission and a return-condition report. Food preparation, medicine carriage, temperature certification and a promise that an untested box keeps food safe for a stated number of hours are excluded. Coolant packs are not supplied unless explicitly specified and separately priced.
