CV writing workshops in Kenya: Operations and Quality Checks

Deliver the agreed result consistently

Teach CV preparation for an identified role or career stage, organizing truthful experience, relevant skills, and evidence while protecting personal information during shared classroom review.

The operating sequence for this offer is:

  1. Explain the workshop's truthful-document scope, ask learners to bring only information they are comfortable sharing and prepare anonymized examples.
  2. Help learners match relevant experience to a role, structure readable sections and remove invented credentials or unsupported achievement claims.
  3. Proof the learner-owned draft for accuracy and clarity, explain unresolved content gaps and provide a private next-step revision checklist.

Put acceptance into the job record

Accurate claims and readable relevant content

Have a reviewer match a fictional or consented CV to a vacancy, checking discoverable evidence, accurate wording, and usable files without needing verbal explanation of the applicant's background.

Inspect at the point where a correction is still possible, then again at handover. Record rejected or incomplete output separately from accepted output. A completed task is not automatically an accepted task, and an invoice does not establish that the customer received the right result.

Measure real capacity

Time preparation, the main operation, transport, cleaning, approvals and correction as applicable. The slowest stage determines how much you can promise. Where two orders need the same person, space or equipment at the same time, resolve the conflict before confirming both deadlines. An additional enquiry should not erase a commitment already made.

At acceptanceHave a reviewer match a fictional or consented CV to a vacancy, checking discoverable evidence, accurate wording, and usable files without needing verbal explanation of the applicant's background.
At the pilot reviewRecord unclear evidence, factual corrections, formatting problems, vacancy-matching questions, and learner revisions while protecting application details and avoiding promises that a workshop guarantees recruitment outcomes.

Keep a correction and escalation rule

When inputs, access, specifications or customer instructions change, pause the affected work and confirm the effect on time and cost. Do not quietly lower the acceptance standard to avoid a delayed delivery. Keep rework caused by your error distinct from a customer-requested change of scope and agree the remedy clearly.

Inflated claims or decorative formatting obscure genuine experience, leaving learners with documents they cannot confidently explain in interviews or adapt accurately to another vacancy.

Retain the minimum records needed to investigate a complaint without disclosing unrelated personal information. Use measured delivery and actual acceptance as the basis for expanding capacity, rather than the maximum theoretical output of a tool or production line.

Operating control points for this exact offer

SequenceWork methodRelease checkpoint
1Learners retain control of documents; collect only needed workshop contact information.Do not request ID numbers, passwords or public sharing of CVs.
2Highlight advertised requirements and match genuine examples from work, study or volunteering.A missing requirement is not fabricated.
3Write contact, summary, experience and education with consistent dates.Claims are factual and quantify results only when the learner can support them.
4Use readable headings and export to the employer-requested file type.Check contact accuracy, page breaks and text extraction.
5Give individual feedback and a correction checklist; delete retained drafts under agreed terms.Learner approves final claims and retains editable copy.

Do not substitute a tick for an observation: record the count, measurement, approved sample or evidence reference used at each checkpoint. Mark unresolved work as held and identify who can approve the recheck.

Diagnose a failure before repeating it

Observed symptom to investigateCheck the causeProposed response
Dates conflictCompare learner records and draft chronology.Ask the learner to resolve facts rather than guessing.
PDF text is not selectableCheck export method.Export proper text PDF rather than a screenshot if the employer accepts it.
Bullet exaggerates responsibilityAsk what the learner personally did.Rewrite with accurate scope and remove unsupported results.

These are diagnostic prompts, not proof of the cause in a real incident. Separate suspect output, record any correction and repeat the relevant acceptance check. Link rejected units, rework time, replacement materials, customer credits and collection delays to the actual job result.
