KENYA · GUIDE 0104 · EDITION 4.2
Dried chilli packing in Kenya
Pack dried chilli to an agreed heat and product format.
A CONCRETE EXAMPLE · ILLUSTRATIVE
Fictional dried-chilli flake repacking: five hundred 20 g sachets, ten kilograms accepted, purchased as twelve kg of appropriately assessed ready-dried chilli from one traceable processor. Two kg is a fictional hold/reject/packing-loss balance. Do not dry unknown fresh chilli or infer microbial safety from red colour. Confirm species/form, heat reference and use description with buyer; no laboratory heat-unit claim without analysis.
Who is the first customer?
Kitchens, spice retailers and consumers using chilli.
