KENYA · GUIDE 0070 · EDITION 4.2
Silage bag production in Kenya
Produce bagged silage using an agronomically suitable process.
A CONCRETE EXAMPLE · ILLUSTRATIVE
Fictional supervised sweetpotato-silage order: twenty sealed bags containing fifty net kilograms each, total one thousand kilograms, for a buyer whose qualified feeding adviser has approved the ingredient and product specification. The example receives 1,200 kilograms of raw material; the 200-kilogram difference must be explained by actual sorting/processing records and is not a standard yield. It is not a recipe, universal feed or a promised fermentation time.
Who is the first customer?
Livestock keepers lacking their own conserved forage.
