KENYA · GUIDE 0118 · EDITION 4.2
Roasted coffee packing in Kenya
Pack traceable roasted coffee under a clear bean and grind description.
A CONCRETE EXAMPLE · ILLUSTRATIVE
Fictional contract-packing order for a roaster: forty 250 g whole-bean coffee pouches, ten kg accepted, using 10.5 kg documented roasted coffee. Half kg is illustrative retained/packing-loss allowance. Roaster supplies origin, roast date and approved brand/label rights; no invented farm provenance, cup score or roasting claim. Packing operator does not roast green coffee in this scope.
Who is the first customer?
Coffee drinkers, offices and cafes.
