KENYA · GUIDE 0119 · EDITION 4.2
Tea gift blending in Kenya
Blend and pack tea gifts with accurate ingredients and origin statements.
A CONCRETE EXAMPLE · ILLUSTRATIVE
Fictional gift-tea blend: fifty 100 g tins, five kg total, using 4.5 kg assessed black tea and.5 kg assessed dried ginger, an illustrative 90:10 flavour formula. Actual tea grade/origin and ginger form must be confirmed; no caffeine, slimming or medicinal claim. Ask Tea Board of Kenya directly about current packer/blender requirements before trading; a gift tin does not remove product obligations.
Who is the first customer?
Gift buyers and small hospitality operators.
