The procurement decision starts with the result you must deliver: Flat usable surface and secure fitting if included
Test the actual surface with approved markers and care instructions, checking erasure, frame integrity, mounting points and packaging before dispatch or competent installation where required.

Ask for the exact unit or pack size, rather than accepting a price without a quantity. Where equipment is involved, check maintenance needs, safe operation, available support and whether you can obtain replacement consumables. Inspect a sample or demonstration where practical. A photograph and a low asking price do not prove suitability or available stock.
Connect procurement to the operating sequence
- Confirm whiteboard size, surface expectations and intended wall location, checking whether mounting is included and who can competently perform it.
- Inspect the board and trial writing and erasing on the actual surface grade, recording any visible defects before dispatch.

Expand the resource list only when actual orders and measured capacity justify it.
